The DLC Santoku is crafted from extremely durable, corrosion resistant CTS-XHP stainless steel and finished with an environmentally friendly, high performance Diamond-Like Coating (DLC). This PM (Particle Metallurgy) grade steel far surpasses traditional hand forged steels because there is a better distribution of the individual elements in the makeup of the material. This enables Meglio Knives to craft blades with incredibly sharp edges and extreme resistance to chipping or breaking.
