Knit from 80% wool for smart-looking comfort, Merc's chunky knit cardigan features a houndstooth Jacquard front pattern with contrasting collar, sleeves and hem.

Finished off with two front pockets this cardigan is designed with a short shawl collar for a retro mod finish and completed with a Merc embroidered crown logo above the left cuff.

Merc was established by Javid Alavi in 1967. It all started out as a market stall on Carnaby but quickly grew into a small shop on Ganton Street and finished up at number 10 Carnaby Street; The prime location in which the store still stands today.
