Product Description

The Great Wave at Kanagawa, also known as The Great Wave or simply The Wave, is Katsushika Hokisai's most famous work. It was published during the Edo Period as the first in Hokusai's series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. This particular woodblock is one of the most recognized works of Japanese art in the world. As in all the prints in the series, it depicts the area around Mount Fuji, including the mountain, which can be seen in the background.

Giclee canvas printing is the most authentic way to reproduce the nuances of fine art painting. This piece is printed as a triptych on a series of three canvases.
