Sporty elegance and function, the Mondaine Night Vision Big Date is a dignified compananion for both on the road and everyday wear. All Mondaine watches with Night Vision boast a self-powered illumination system must be fitted into the watch dial and hands. The watch employs tiny self-powered micro gaslights, developed by the Swiss world leader in the luminous compound industry. These watches need no external light source to “charge” the points on the dial or hands, in order to glow, as do conventional luminous watches. Nor do they require the push of a button to light the dial, ad do watches with electroluminescence. This system allows one to view time at a glance, no matter what the light level, even in complete darkness.
