About the Designer

Lidia Bonilla is the founder of MUA, an intimate lifestyle company whose products fuse sensuality with functionality. After a funny incident with a professional organizer discovering her drawer of goodies, she looked for an elegant and functional storage solution and found none. Together with Arsenio Garcia, the MUA box was born. MUA is the first adult brand to launch on Kickstarter, the world's most popular crowd funding site. Prior to MUA, Lidia Bonilla worked with 'naughty' clients as a compliance and regulatory affairs expert.
Arsenio Garcia studied in Madrid and Pasadena, integrating European and American perspectives with his South American identity. Arsenio has 12 years of experience creating products from healthcare, office furniture, house-wares, electronics to branding and packaging. Many of his latest projects are focused in design strategy, sustainable practices and education. He has collaborated with companies like Herman Miller, Itoki, Omron, Toshiba, Starbucks, OXO International, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Home Depot, Mc Donald’s, Playtex, Hewlett Packard and others.
