The Limited Edition Bamboo "Fast Cutter" is a Special Edition Musashi Sword design by Paul Southren of Sword Buyers Guide. It was design as a lightweight katana made for super fast cuts. Hand-forged from 1060 high carbon steel using the Maru-kitae technique, this razor-sharp blade is beautiful and resilient. The Fuchi and Kashira depict a bamboo theme. Along with the rare hamidashi tsuba, the bamboo fast cutter is very light. In trained hands, this lightweight katana can cut maneuver and change direction with speed you didn’t know was possible! A glossy black wood saya sheaths the katana while not in use.

A unique feature is the integrated Bo-Hi on the blade. Bo-Hi is commonly known as a "blood groove," but that is a misconception. The purpose of the Bo-Hi is to help reduce the weight of the blade so it is easier to wield and puts less stress on the hands. It also helps with some advance cutting techniques that require the katana to change direction rapidly.

The Special Edition Bamboo Fast Cutter is razor sharp right out of the box and ready for tameshigiri. Each Special Edition Bamboo Fast Cutter is individually numbered on the tang and comes with matching certificate of authenticity.
