Can you leave the lights on instead of sensor?

There is not a switch to go from motion-activated to steady on. One can take the sensor out of the system and plug the power supply directly to the LED strips for a steady on, but there is no switch to turn that on or off. Any outlet controlled by a wall switch would work well to achieve this function.

How much does the "Dimmable" function work?

The dimming function should take your lights to a very low level of light output - noticeably dimmer than the full output. Turn the dimming dial toward - to set the light to the lowest output.

Do you have 220-240 volt?

The system has a transformer that is compatible with 110- 220v input and 12v outpost. The power cord has a standard outlet plug.

What activates the motion sensor?

The sensor is activated when it senses body heat. Therefore it can trigger in darkness when one steps out of bed.

Can it come in different colors?

The MyLight products only come in the soft, warm white light as shown.

Does it come in 220 / 240 vac?

The power supply is rated for 110-240VAC input and has a 12VDC output. There is a standard 110V US plug for regular socket use.

Can you use these lights say in the bathroom or a hallway?

Yes, they can be used anywhere.

I have a huge blanket that moves around at night, would that trigger the sensor to activate?

This is a PRI sensor that reacts to body heat and motion. When it detects heat and motion, it will activate. A person or an animal will trigger the lights to activate. A blanket will only trigger if it is still warm with sufficient body heat.

How close do you have to get to the sensor for it to read body heat and turn on?

The sensor can detect heat and motion from about 10ft in an arc of 120 degrees.
