The grind pattern scratched into the metallic surface catches and reflects light in all directions, creating an interesting holographic illusion of depth and dimension. Perhaps most striking of all is the airbrushed shading that Nicholas airbrushes to dramatically exaggerate the depth and layering of the grind pattern.
