Bacon Wrapped Delights

Northwest Fish’s premium American Gold™ Bacon-Wrapped Scallops and Bacon Wrapped Shrimp are a delicious way to upgrade your appetizers and impress your guests! The sweet and buttery flavor of scallops and the natural sweetness of the shrimp blends perfectly with the crispy, smoky flavor of the bacon. Both the Bacon Wrapped Scallops and the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp are all natural, free of chemicals and preservatives.

Cooking Instructions (From Thawed):
Broiling: Place baking rack approximately 6 inches from the upper heating element and set oven to the “low” broil setting. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Evenly spread bacon wrapped shrimp/scallops across the lined baking sheet maintaining ~2 inches between pieces. Broil for 5-8 minutes, bacon should appear crisp and browned. Remove from the oven and transfer to serving tray. Internal temperature should read 145°F or higher.

Pan Frying: Heat a large frying pan over medium heat. Once the pan is up to temperature, evenly spread bacon wrapped shrimp/scallops across the frying pan maintaining ~2 inches between pieces. Loosely cover the pan with a lid with one side slightly lifted to allow venting during cooking. Cook for 3-5 minutes, the bacon in contact with the pan should crisp and browned. Turn each piece over and continue to cook for 2-3 minutes until the bacon is crisp and brown. Internal temperature should read 145°F or higher. Remove pan from heat and transfer to serving tray.
