Established in 1798, the Tobermory Distillery is the only distillery on the Island of Mull and one of the oldest commercial distilleries in Scotland. It is unique, not just because of its idyllic location, but because it produces two different, but equally alluring, single malts: the fruity, unpeated Tobermory, and the more robust and smoky Ledaig. Centuries have passed, but their uncompromising tradition, dedication, and devotion remain.

This cracking single malt proves Islay isn't the only place to get your hands on splendidly peaty whisky. The 18 Year Old Ledaig single malt offers up hearty phenols, smoky herbs, cracked black pepper and balancing waves of Sherry-soaked fruit.

Tasting Notes
— Aroma: Smoke, rubber, sour milk and even some tar followed by fruity notes from apricots and dates, raisins and candied oranges.
— Mouth Feel: Nicely oily
— Palate: Sweet notes of the sherry cask come first with notes of oranges, coffee, tobacco, and even some red fruit. Then the peat takes over. Big development of smoke and loads of spices like pepper, nutmeg and salt. Mid-palate it even becomes quite brackish.
— Finish: Long and warming, a tad smoky with loads of liquorice.
