1775 Two Shillings New York Colonial Currency // PCGS Certified About New 53
Product Description
Cash in the early American colonies included small paper banknotes denominated in pounds, shillings, and pence. The relative market value of these banknotes varied from colony to colony and all were worth less than a British note of the same denomination. Colonial Currency represents one of the oldest forms of North American paper money as we know it.
Offered here is an exceptional and original example of a 2-shilling bank note issued by the Colony New York.
Please Note: The item(s) you receive will match the quality of the one shown, but may vary slightly due to the nature of original historical artifacts.
