Similar to the classic Mark V, the Mark V Shell is the single membrane version designed by back country guides. The Mark V Shell is made from a twill polyester with a PU membrane and knitted mesh bonded outer shell fabric. Combined with a nylon windproof lining and welded seams, it has a soft feel paired with a 15k/15k waterproof and breathability rating.

The suit is also equipped with the essentials, including a front storm placket with magnetic fasteners, ventilation complete with mesh, external waterproof pockets, and external glove pockets with magnetic fasteners.

What’s temperature rating?

This is a shell so windproof, waterproof, and highly breathable but it has no insulation. They are very lightweight and give you maximum mobility. Since they do not have any insulation you should consider wearing an insulator underneath your shell, but it gives you plenty of options with layering whatever the conditions.
