Outdoor Fellow began as a hobby for founder Patrick Jones. A candle enthusiast, he would pick up candles anywhere and everywhere he went. His enthusiasm for candles inspired him to making his own with scents based on the places he and his boyfriend have traveled over the years - from backpacking in the Adirondacks to scuba diving in Bonaire. Each scent is developed and made New York City using natural blended coconut wax and fragrance oils, then hand-poured in a reusable, heavy bottomed glass jar. Most importantly, Outdoor Fellow donates 5% of sales towards The Trust for Public Land in an effort to help keep public lands available for public use.
