Luminor 1950 8 Days GMT inaugurates a new family of products that exclusively uses in-house Officine Panerai movements. The aesthetics of the Luminor 1950 case are enhanced by a line inspired by the history of Officine Panerai, but with an updated, improved design and great attention to detail.

Its most important characteristic is the P.2002 calibre which, for Officine Panerai, is the progenitor of the P.2000 series and takes its name from the year in which the project for movements entirely designed and developed in the Manufacture in Neuchâtel was launched. The black sandwich dial (formed by two superimposed plates, the upper of which is perforated and the lower of which is coated in luminescent material) of the Luminor 1950 8 Days GMT has a calendar at 3 o'clock, with a traditional small seconds dial in a symmetrical position. The power reserve, characterised by a trapezoidal index that moves over a linear graduated sector, is displayed at 6 o'clock while the central hand with arrow tip for the second time zone is combined with the 24-hour indicator.
