The Radiomir Composite Black Seal 3 Days Automatic – 45 mm has a Radiomir case made of Panerai Composite and a dial with date display at 3 o’clock. Another feature of this watch is the name ‘Black Seal’ printed onto the dial, a fascinating reminder of the history of the Florentine brand. Black Seal was, in fact, one of the names used to describe the slow-speed torpedoes usedby the commandos of the Italian Navy in their underwater missions.
Visible through the burnished sapphire crystal, the movement of the Radiomir Composite Black Seal 3 Days Automatic is the P.9000, with a power reserve of 72 hours achieved by means of two spring barrels powered by an oscillating weight that winds in both directions. With a diameter of 13¾ lignes and a balance that oscillates at a frequency of 4 Hz, the P.9000 calibre is also fitted with a stop-seconds device enabling the time to be synchronized with a reference time signal.
