Pangea Maps was founded by Tom Percy, an industrial designer with nearly a decade of experience. He developed and refined his vision of 3D ocean maps as a personal side project, as his passion for the water extends beyond art into windsurfing, skiing and sailing, as well as protecting our coastlines.

His first map was of his own home, Moreton Bay, Australia. It was a present for his father’s birthday and was received with great enthusiasm. Since then, he has produced custom maps of countless coastlines. With an inpouring of custom requests for locations from all around the globe, Pangea Maps continues to grow.

This hyper-detailed 3D wooden contour map features the city and surrounding waters of Cape Cod. It's handmade from 12 layers of 1/16" plywood, and each layer represents water depth. Because every map is made by hand, each one features it's own unique wood grain and authentic human touch, so no two will ever look exactly alike.
