It depends on the capacity of memory card for how long before it looping.
If you use the 8GB card, it will be approximately an hour before it loop.
GoSafe 550 can support up to a 64GB card. If use a 64GB, it will be approximately 4 hours before it loops.
It depends on your car's cigarette lighter. Some cigarette lighters will still supply power even with the ignition being off. In this situation, the dash cam will be able to receive power and it will keep recording.
