About the Designer

Arveena Ahluwalia moved to the US at the age of 21. A serious foot injury led to her quest for comfortable yet fashionable shoes — ones that would protect her feet like orthopedics, but without compromising on style. She turned to her uncle, Paul — scion of Drish and a foremost expert in shoemaking — to produce a gorgeous pair of shoes that would still be beneficial for her recovery. Those shoes changed the course of her life. When Ahluwalia learned that Drish was looking to expand its footprint into the U.S., Paul Drish was born.
