FAQ
Can you use this item on windows?

Yes, the adhesive was also designed for windows.

Does it work with any vibration of the door or door knob, not just motion?

I would not say that ‘any’ vibrations will set the alarm off, but if there is moderate movement on the door the alarm will activate.

Can it be used on sliding doors?

Yes, just to be safe, place the unit on the outside of the overlap.

Can you remove and re-stick this item?

There is a very secure adhesive built into the unit. If you are interested in mobile use or transferring between doors, we have found that poster tack or putty works well instead of the included adhesive.
