In 1777, Swiss inventor Abraham-Louis Perrelet created the automatic self-winding movement. All Perrelet watches are equipped with this same movement today, and and each one is crafted in Perrelet's own workshop, and hand-assembled inside every watch.
Perrelet’s classic Double Rotor collection is equipped with the exclusive double-rotor P-181 movement oscillating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations/hour (4 Hz), and endowed with a 42-hour power reserve.
