About the Designer

Manuel Ostner discovered the fascinations of free entrepreneurship at 14 years old: he had a paper route, started repairing Vespa scooters, and became the proud inventor of a foldable camping toilet. Ostner graduated with an international university entrance diploma (Abitur) both in Australia and Germany, and in 2004, Ostner finally met his true calling: bike building. He founded the company Pimp Garage where he pimped bikes so skillfully as to attract the attention of the lifestyle press and TV networks like MTV. In 2008, he created the brand PG, which stands for excellence, fascination and innovation. With the company's 60,000 Euro top model, the BlackTrail, Ostner even succeeded in getting 'green' Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom, talk show host Jay Leno, singer Lady Gaga, and more stars as fans of the PG brand.

Charismatic Ostner has set himself ambitious goals for the years to come: he wants to build PG into a global premium lifestyle brand while successively adding a variety of other high-end products to his portfolio. Attributes like unique describe not only Ostner himself: "Be unique" is also the guiding principle of PG's overall brand strategy.
