This Pablo Picasso lithograph is a limited edition portrait of Marie-Therese Walter, who was a model and mistress of Picasso from about 1927 to 1935. She was a beautiful blonde woman, captured in this print for the ages wearing a purple beret. This piece of artwork is from the Marina Picasso estate collection, with Marina being the granddaughter of the great cubist modern master. These lithographs were produced from 1979-1982 under the direction of the chromist Laurent Marcel Salinas. From a limited edition of 500 lithographs, this piece has been signed and numbered by the "Collection Marina Picasso," with a blindstomp and ink stamp on verso that reads 'Approved by the heirs of Pablo Picasso.'
