Product Description

In 1912, Avery Coonley asked Frank Lloyd Wright to build an addition to Wright's original 1907 estate design. The addition was to be a separate playhouse where his wife would teach kindergarten. The Coonley Playhouse windows incorporate iconic images of a parade, including balloons, American flags and confetti, and represent a departure from Wright's signature straight lines. This Coonley Playhouse set of earrings is based on one of Wright's original unbuilt window concepts for the space.
