The Seymchan Meteorite was found in the dry bed of the river Hekandue in 1967. It's a rare type of pallasite meteorite known for its prominent Widmanstätten pattern.
The spectacular Space Box display if an original design by Ernesto Duran. Housed within a 1" thick acrylic box with an inlay magnet, the meteorite inside is able to float and spin just as it did in space for years before its final visit to Earth. The Space Box is not only a beautiful display, but a link between our world and the biggest unknown—space.
