Does each speaker need to be plugged into a power outlet? If so, how is this wireless?

The Platin Milan 5.1 WiSA Certified speaker system comes with 6 discrete speakers (Front Left, Center, Front Right, Back left, Back Right, and subwoofer) and each speaker comes with its own power cord to plug into any standard outlet. The speakers are wireless because you do not need any speaker wires or AVR wiring to connect to for audio. The speakers come with the WiSA SoundSend wireless audio transmitter that connects to your SmartTV and sends audio wirelessly to these speakers.

Will the wireless broadcast from SoundSend interfere with my existing WiFi mesh network on 2.4Hz and 5Hz?

The included WiSA SoundSend transmitter complies with Article 15 of the FCC regulations so it will not cause harmful interference. The WiSA SoundSend transmitter is compliant so the SoundSend will not interfere with your network.

How’s the bass on the system?

The bass of this Platin Milan, WiSA Certified Speaker system is good because it comes with a dedicated subwoofer as part of the 5.1 surround sound speaker system. You can also turn up the bass on the subwoofer both via the controls underneath the sub speaker or by using the included free WiSA SoundSend app to enhance your bass overall.

Is the system AirPlay compatible?

No, it is not AirPlay compatible.

Does it have WiFi or Bluetooth connection so that one can listen to music without connecting it to the TV?

You can enjoy listening to music from any music app on your Smart TV like Pandora, Spotify, or YouTube. Any app on your TV that plays music the WiSA SoundSend connected to your Smart TV ARC/eARC port can transmit the audio wirelessly to these Platin Milan speakers. A Smart TV is required to enjoy the audio. An additional Bluetooth receiver can be connected via the optical port to provide this functionality.

Can the wireless transmitter be attached to your receiver?

This Platin Milan is for connecting to your Smart TV ARC or eARC port with the free included WiSA SoundSend wireless audio transmitter to send the audio signal to your speakers. It is not designed for connecting to a receiver.

What’s the output of the speakers?

Each speaker is designed as a complete closed system where electronics, speaker drivers, and enclosure are perfectly matched for optimum performance. The individual amplifier power of each system is only one factor in the total output of the entire system and is not a clear indicator of total system performance. The approach of engineering each speaker with discrete electronics and enclosure design is an optimal methodology to extract the most performance from the components, therefore these speakers sound much louder than you would expect from their wattage rating alone.

What is the bypass on it? Also, how many HDMI inputs does it have?

The Platin Milan 5.1 + WiSA SoundSend transmitter does not pass any video since the TV will output only audio from the HDMI ARC/eARC port when connected to the SoundSend. This type of configuration will use the TV as the "hub" for connected devices. Also, the SoundSend has 2 inputs, HDMI ARC/eARC, and an Optical connection.
