Dragonfly // Cocktail Table

The Dragonfly Cocktail Table is an award-winning design by artist and architectural designer Michael Olshefski of Primal Modern. Inspired by the graceful tapered stance of a dragonfly at rest, this exquisite Wabi-Sabi table showcases beautifully figured black walnut with dramatic voids reflective of dragonfly wings. The delicate leather spine represents the body of the majestic creature. The legs, are shaped to represent a resting dragonfly and inspired by Japanese origami—each leg is cut and folded from a single piece of plate steel and trimmed in leather. The elevated 0.5" ultra-clear glass table top is inspired by the concept of a museum case which displays and protects the precious object below. This handsome showcase piece is unlike any other.
