Product Description

Antique leather cordite carrier bucket with a beautiful colorful coat of arms crest on the front with the motto “HONI SOIT QUI MAL PENSE” which translates to (shamed be whoever thinks ill of it.) Leather handle attached with brass fittings, interior is lined with burlap textile. Underside is marked/embossed “No 66 ll BH & G LTD 8-1941.” These were originally used to carry cordite and were also known as a Clarkson case. Very good antique condition, wear consistent with age and use. No lid.
