PÜRTREK was created in the backcountry of Utah by a group of dedicated enthusiasts with over five years of R&D. PÜRTREK solves the issues of getting efficient access to freshwater outdoors with an ingenious combination of a hiking/trek pole with a built-in pump-style water filtration system. Gone are the days of carrying a separate water filter, water bottle, or cumbersome filtration gear. Now you can lighten your pack and hydrate without the extra weight. Simply insert the pole in water source, attach drinking tube, and and pump the handle to drink pure filtered water in a matter of seconds.

The Hollow Fiber filter removes 99.999% waterborne bacteria, including E. coli and salmonella, and 99.99% waterborne protozoa, including giardia and cryptosporidium.The filter can also remove possible micro-plastics. Utilizing a two-stage filter system with a sizeable particulate pre-filter located at the lower filter inlet, the PÜRTREK filtration system efficiently filters up to 2,000 liters per filter with proper care. Thanks to an easy to use locking flip cap, you can have peace of mind knowing that dirt and other germs can't fall into your filtration system while you're adventuring.

PÜRTREK's special foam molded grips provide comfort and wick away sweat. The extended EVA foam grip offers relief for a quick transition on changing terrain. The wrist strap adjusts quickly to be comfortable but durable, held by an enlarged stainless steel pin. The pole shafts are made with 7075 aircraft aluminum known for their lightweight. Its telescope design is durable coupled with a series of seals, valves, and O-rings that guarantees clean drinking water. Even with the built-in water filtration system, it weighs a mere 19 ounce! The PÜRTREK trekking poles are completely adjustable up to 53" and collapse down to only 26" for convenient international travel.
