QuickVent PLUS is a secure, quick-access safe disguised to look like a standard air vent so you can hide your valuables in plain sight. Integrated RFID technology makes access quick and convenient—just touch the key card, fob, and token to the hidden access point and the compartment will open. With all the same features as the original QuickVent, the QuickVent Plus provides an extra 50% more storage space underneath a false bottom.

For additional functionality, choose the Bluetooth + RFID edition of the QuickShelf. This version still features RFID functionality, along with the added benefit of Bluetooth operation via the QuickSafes app for both iOS and Android devices.

It's an RFID lock with a retractable latch bolt.

Does the extra bottom fit within the wall space?

Yes, it does. Just be sure to install the shelf a couple of inches above the baseboard.

Is it fireproof?

No, these products are not fireproof.

How long does the unit typically last before having to replace the batteries?

The batteries last 3,000 openings or 1 year. We suggest changing the batteries every time you change your smoke detector batteries.

What happens if the battery fails?

In the event that the internal batteries fail, each purchase comes with a backup battery pack that can be used to “jump-start” the safe.
