About the Designer
The designer Masanori Kirihara has been an artist from early age. As a child, he developed his creativity by customizing interiors, furnitures, accessories, shoes... anything around him which didn’t meet his needs. His passion for design originates from turning everyday devices into objects with unique style and efficiency. The inspiration of the dock comes from the concept of Japanese tea ceremony. Equipments used in the ceremony are carefully selected and its combination creates special meanings. The dock is a gadget with a mixture of unusual materials uniquely harmonized. He hopes to continue creating unique yet efficient designs to enrich people’s daily lives.
