The Rackhouse Whiskey Club x Corsair Distillery Duo Set features two bottles of premium, award-winning whiskey from the Corsair Distillery in Nashville, TN. The box includes one 750ml bottle of Dark Rye and one 750ml bottle of Triple Smoke Single Malt Whiskey—Whiskey Advocates Artisan Whiskey of the Year—along with a 6 oz Corsair Distillery engraved glencairn whiskey glass.

Awarded over 450 medals for their spirits, Corsair Distillery is celebrated for innovative whiskeys, gins, and unusual spirits. Childhood friends, Darek Bell and Andrew Webber, began homebrewing beer and wine in Darek and Amy Lee Bell’s garage. They hit a snag while working on a prototype bio-diesel plant, causing Andrew to remark that making whiskey would be much more satisfying. The idea stuck, and the two soon found themselves studying distilleries and spirits. Corsair Distillery was founded in 2008 Bowling Green, KY. By 2010, Corsair set its marks where it all started, and became the first craft distillery in Nashville since prohibition.

Dark Rye has a rye and citrus fruit forward nose with a hint of chocolate. Chewy, viscous mouth feel with rye malt spice and oaky sweetness on the pallet. Subtle chocolate and spice notes followed by a clean rye finish and a lingering chocolatey rye aftertone.

Smoke and notes of cherry pervade the palate of Triple Smoke Single Malt, finished by a slight brininess from the mossy peat. Pot distilled then aged in new American charred oak, Triple Smoke has the sweetness of an American whiskey with the rich smoke of an Islay single malt scotch.
