This handcrafted pallet coffee table features the modern design of a cube whose lid opens up to add storage space to your home. Raka Mod takse pride in using reclaimed materials to make their furniture pieces. To make each piece, they carefully inspect and hand select each wood panel to ensure the highest quality, overall finish. Their pieces are then carefully and thoroughly sanded down very well to ensure a smooth finish. Their goal is to restore as much of each piece of wood as possible, without taking away the essence of reclaimed wood. As you look closely, you will notice knots, nail holes, amd tool marks which are proudly selected to be displayed as a way to show its history of a previous life as well as its originality. The beauty of using reclaimed wood is that each one of our pieces is completely unique and one will never be exactly as the last.

RAKA MOD is a furniture design studio, located in Birmingham AL, which originated from a husband & wife's shared passion for interior design. While searching for a very specific modern/rustic table for one of their latest redecorating projects, Karla grew frustrated that this style was nowhere to be found. Ray bought some tools and decided to put his skills to work & out of that sparked an interest in furniture design & woodworking that he never knew he had.
They love the juxtaposition of clean lines in modern design with that of old, rustic, weathered materials. Each piece is personally handcrafted by Ray and not one is identical to the last, making every individual piece one of a kind.
