The craftsman built cabinets are finished in fine Macassar wood veneers and the interior is lined with a soft luxurious velvet. Subtle interior lighting is provided to show off the watches at their best. The door is fitted with beveled glass and is lockable for added security. An internal, velvet lined drawer offers storage for watches on adjustable pads.
Each Optima watch carrier is covered in soft, black leather, is adjustable to take any size and style of watch strap and is individually controlled to ensure watches remain properly wound. About the Designer
Rapport is a 4th generation family run business with 115 years of expertise in the horological market. The company was founded in 1898 by Maurice A. Rapport who was an energetic young entrepreneur keen to make his mark on an age that thrived on innovation. His skills lay in the manufacture of prestige timepieces and it did not take long for the name of Rapport to become a household name in clockmaking throughout the world. In the earl 1990's the M.A. Rapport Company developed range of watch winders to ensure that watch collectors would be able to maintain their fine automatic watches in pristine condition while not wearing them. Today their products are distributed in over 65 countries worldwide.
