Chamucos Tequila was conceived in 1992 by Oscar nominated Mexican film director, Antonio Urrutia, and his close friend, multi-hyphenate Cesar Hernandez. When American importer Mark Howard visited Cesar's glass factory, the trio decided to launch their own tequila.

Chamucos Tequila was originally produced and bottled as Reposado only. Led by renowned Master Distiller Ing. Hector Davalos, the group collaborated on the recipe before launching in both Mexico and the US in 1994.Today, Chamucos Tequila is sold in eight countries.

Chamucos Blanco is a raw, visceral, and sexy tequila. The savory, somewhat meaty nose and palate are reminiscent of pechuga mezcals — which are actually made with meat. All that umami is softened by the mid palate's rounded, waxy honey note before finishing with an herbaceous lilt on the peppery exhale. The aroma is intense and fruity, with highlights of raw agave, peppermint, and vanilla. You've got to try this smooth and sweet, yet citric brew.

Chamucos Blanco Diablo is a carefully handcrafted tequila build for connoisseurs. Since 1995, it has been grown & cultivated with organic farming practices in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, Mexico. Both aroma and flavor are amazingly pure thanks to the small-batch production, so you can enjoy the silky mouth feel.
