Product Description
Handcrafted in wax and lost-wax cast into stainless steel, each Full Size Human Skull statue is unique, working from a real human skull to preserve exceptional anatomical accuracy and detail. The one change is a small pair of sculpted sockets to lock the mandible (lower jaw) to the skull. These sockets are inconspicuous and allow the jaw to be fixed to the skull yet still articulate. After casting, the skulls are completely finished by hand before being silver plated. The silvered skull is then blackened and highlighted to enhance the detail.
