Reid & Taylor has a long history of over 170 years, and the business is still based in its birthplace: the Langholm in the Scottish Borders. The company was founded in 1837, after Alexander Reid realized that by bringing together local Cheviot wool, water from the River Esk, and hardworking craftsmen, he could make a unique cloth perfect for shirting and suiting. Centuries, celebrity sightings, and many awards later, Reid & Taylor continues to make the best of the best.
