Santa Maria was the largest of the three carracks, which were used by Christopher Columbus in his 1st voyage across the Atlantic Ocean in 1492. Rene Mouris' Santa Maria Chronograph draws its inspiration from the shape of a porthole representing the dream and discovery of Columbus's Atlantic adventures.

Durable and protective by design, the Santa Maria series is created to withstand high performance sports. Its large rugged case, with its fixed serrated bezel, comes in different dial variations and luminous indices, and is water resistant to 10ATM.
