These earrings replicate an authentic 900AD Viking silver treasure buried in Lancashire, England. Stamping into flattened silver was a basic and well-used Viking Age technique. Many jewelry pieces were decorated with patterns of triangles, dashes, and dots made by hammering the top of a shaped die into the surface of the metal. This piece replicates that style while still looking modern and stylish.
