Compared to the Apostle 98 Wood, this model has two added sheets of titanal to the wood core to beef up the skis. This construction still maintains the playful nature of the full wood core skis without having to care about what you're plowing through. If you like high speeds and a ski you don't have to bridal, this is the construction for you.
