5Bridges Winery has been crafting small lot, premium, uniquely San Francisco wine since 2005. Using estate grown grapes of Tempranillo, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, their wines show a true sense of place and pride in craftsmanship that embodies the San Francisco spirit of adventure, triumph, and determination.

Their 140 acre ranch is nestled in the East Bay Hills between Hayward and Pleasanton, California. At an elevation of 1,000 feet, the property offers unparalleled views of the five bridges that span the San Francisco Bay—hence the name.

Production is limited to fewer than 300 cases per year in order to create a legacy of handcrafted, delectable, world-class wines.

The 2014 5Bridges Rustic Red Blend is a full-bodied red blend with a silky mouthfeel and long finish. 2014 was one of the best vintages California has seen. Warm days and cool nights yielded wines with ripe flavors, ample structure, and vibrant acidity. It will benefit from several years of aging. Decant while young.
