Residents of Portland, Oregon, the folks at Sentri were no stranger to wet weather. Tired of having to constantly choose between a bulky rain jacket (not stylish) and a comfy hoodie (not waterproof), they began to search for a solution. The technical hoodies already on the market weren't up to snuff; they didn't amount to much more than regular sweatshirts that had been sprayed with water repellant — a treatment that tended to fade after a few washes, anyway. And so Sentri was created; an all-weather outdoor jacket in the body of your favorite casual hoodie.
