Fairmount is a flat-packed aluminum tile planter for building lightweight, modular gardens in both private and public spaces.

Fairmount encourages growth and modularity in the urban landscape. Each tile increases energy efficiency by deflecting heat that otherwise would permeate your roof or deck.

Arriving flat-packed, the only steps are to fold up the four edges and plant away. Each set of four planter tiles come with rubber feet to prevent racking and aluminum reactions with copper roofing.

Do they work on roof membrane as a green roof system?

Yes, they do. The tiles are crafted from aluminum, and are very lightweight - but ensure that your roof can support the additional weight of the tiles and the soil you've chosen. We recommend lightweight potting soil for this purpose and supply burlap bags to hold the soil in place. The tiles have EPDM rubber feet to prevent reactions with copper roofing, among many other benefits.
