Slate & Stone began with a trip abroad. Designer Jeffrey Jacobs' father, a design and manufacturing pioneer, sent his son to Europe to study fashion; while there, Jeffrey learned to re-work high-end European fashion for an American audience returning home with a collection of designs that eventually became Slate & Stone. Today, Jeffrey's company makes fashion-forward menswear and footwear with an unmatched dedication to detail and quality. Each item is designed to be transitional so that the wearer always looks his best, using rich, texture-heavy fabrics, deep saturated colors, and powerful raw leathers.
