Product Description
The Slab Skate Watch has been fitted with a Miyota 8215 automatic (mechanical) movement, making it the first automatic wooden watch. This means that you never have to worry about changing batteries because it's powered by kinetic energy. The watch runs for up to two days when not in use, and even boasts a self-wind, a textured face, a glow in the dark dial, and heirloom quality.
The Skate Watch is made from seven-ply, repurposed skateboard wood. It is white with natural maple accents and looks stunning. The designers decided to make a skateboard watch because of its durability. The flexibility and strength of seven-ply maple makes skateboard wood the perfect material to repurpose, while creating an utterly unique look. Each watch comes with extra links as well, so all wrist sizes will be accommodated.

About the Designer
Shane and India are the husband/wife team that make up Slim Timber. Shane has long been an entrepreneur that loves working on and refining new projects/ideas. India is more on the artsy side. She loves photography and painting. Both love to make things. Especially by hand. Based out of Boise, ID the team loves to choose pieces of wood that show its beauty and uniqueness. They chose to make wallets because it was something that wasn't really being done and thought they could add to what was out there. They hope to continue to innovate/create more wood products in the future.
