Product Description

A breakout star from a young age, Matías Riccitelli was brought up in a family and region steeped in winemaking. He was born in Cafayate, Salta, a small village in northern Argentina where winemaking is everything – an omnipresent trade and way of life. He grew up studying and working with his father and mentor, legendary winemaker Jorge Riccitelli. He later traveled much of the wine world, learning along the way, and returned home to serve as chief winemaker for two of Argentina’s top wineries, Fabre Montmayou and Bodega Norton. His boutique property was founded in Las Compuertas in 2009, and it is here that he now focuses all his creative energies, producing wines of freshness, nuance, and vibrancy.

Beautiful pink salmon color, "Hey Rosé" shows floral aromas with notes of white fruits and citrus. Made in the Provence style, this dry Rosé from Argentinian Malbec expresses the versatility of the varietal to adapt itself to any kind of wine. Harvested in February from their vineyard in Perdriel at the banks of the Mendoza River, it is pressed immediately and fermented at low temperatures during several weeks where it turns into a great aromatic wine with natural acidity. It is a fresh and elegant wine perfect for a summer sunset.
