Sense Huarache Shoe // Mocha (US 8)
The huarache sandal is believed to have origins in the Nahuatl-speaking farming communities of Jalisco, Michoacán, Guanajuato, and Yucatán in Southern Mexico. While ancient huaraches were originally made of cotton, the contemporary braided leather strap construction first emerged from Spanish cultural influences. It is upon this craftsmanship that Espíritu shoes are styled.
Sol Espíritu Huaraches are meticulously handcrafted in Mexico by talented indigenous artisans using traditional huarache threading equipment and techniques. The rich leather construction and remarkable woven design allows the shoe to stretch and mold around your feet to perfectly hug them for a snug, custom fit. Each pair is then finished with a lightweight rubber sole made of non-slippery, flexible crepé for major comfort and a clean, classy look.
