Is it waterproof on the inside of the jar?

SONNENGLAS is waterproof from the outside. Make sure the lid is properly closed and attached. From the inside its not waterproof, so it's not possible to put liquids inside the jar.

What is the lumenn?

The brightness is around 20 Lumens. It was designed to provide a level of illumination so you can read by it. In Africa, SONNENGLAS is used as a study lantern in areas without electricity.
