The Hakutan Air Purifier uses an aesthetic chunk of White Charcoal from Korean Holm Oak to regulate humidity levels and cleanse the air of pollution, steam, and odors. Hakutan are sometimes placed near computers, where it releases negative ions that neutralize electromagnetic waves emitted from computer screens.

If you keep it clean and revitalize it with direct sunlight, your Hakusan can last for a lifetime. But if you want to discard it, it can be crushed into soil to make an excellent fertilizer.
