The soft and flexible material used in The SteakStones Oven Gauntlets gives you all the control you will need to safely handle stones, safe in the knowledge that you will be adequately protected when removing the stone from your chosen heat source.
SteakStones can be heated up to 350 degrees centigrade and standard oven gloves are typically only suitable up to 240c, so to offer you suitable protection for handling our heated stones, we strongly recommend our own gloves which are tested to be safe for handling items up to 350c dry heat, making them great for general use and your barbecue as well.

About the Designer
Nick Metcalf has been intruiged by lava stone since he was a child, but it took a stiff rebuke from a French Chef in Versailles to inspire the creation of Steak Stones. Metcalf has modernized traditional hot stone cooking by combining some of nature’s strongest and most sustainable materials with sleek, contemporary design.
