Product Description

The lava stone of the Steak Plate & Sauces Set makes it ideal for some of the larger, thinner cuts of steak. Think Rib-Eye, Sirloin and Rump or even a mix of Surf & Turf with a couple of smaller sized steaks and some succulent scallops. The larger size also makes the stone ideal for some meat or fish skewers and with the side plate for your chosen chips and vegetables and dip pots for your favorite accompaniments. This really is a great way to dine and is guaranteed to impress your guests while also being a really simple meal to prepare.

Simply heat the stone in your oven (under the baking or roasting element), on top of your broiler, or on your grill. The natural properties of the lava stone help it retain an incredibly high amount of heat, perfect for searing meats and sizzling presentations.

FAQ
How do you heat the stone?

You can heat it in your oven (under the baking or roasting element), on top of your broiler or on your grill.

Is this electric?

No, this is not electric. The Stones are preheated so there are no cables or candles at the table, just the stored sizzling heat which will remain for 20-30mins.

How long do you heat the stone for in the oven? Can you heat the stone in your microwave?

You can heat the stone directly on the stove, under the broiler or in the oven. We don't recommend the microwave.

If you heat the stone directly on the stove, do you have to use the tin pan to keep the stone from breaking?

No, the stone can be heated directly on the stovetop and then placed into the steel tray which is already in place on the board.
